How to make Chicken Paratha Roll Recipe

Chicken paratha roll is a popular Pakistani and Indian street food that is easy to make and absolutely delicious. Here is a recipe to make chicken paratha roll at home:

Ingredients:

2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 cup vegetable oil
Water as needed
1 lb boneless chicken breast, cut into small cubes
1 onion, finely chopped
2 tomatoes, chopped
2 green chillies, chopped
1/2 tsp cumin seeds
1/2 tsp coriander powder
1/2 tsp red chilli powder
Salt to taste
2 tbsp vegetable oil
1 egg, beaten
1 .Ketchup and mayonnaise for serving
2 .Cabbage, onion, and tomato slices for serving
Instructions:

3 .In a mixing bowl, combine flour, salt, and vegetable oil. Gradually add water and knead to form a smooth dough. Cover the dough and let it rest for 30 minutes.

4 .In a separate pan, heat 2 tbsp of vegetable oil and add cumin seeds. Once they start spluttering, add chopped onion and green chillies. Sauté until onions turn translucent.

5 .Add chopped tomatoes, coriander powder, red chilli powder, and salt. Cook for a few minutes until the tomatoes are soft.

6 .Add the cubed chicken and cook for 10-12 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked.

7 .Divide the dough into small balls and roll each one into a thin circle. Heat a non-stick pan and cook the parathas on both sides until they are golden brown. Brush the parathas with beaten egg and cook for a minute more.

8 .To assemble the rolls, spread ketchup and mayonnaise on each paratha. Add chicken filling and top with sliced cabbage, onion, and tomato. Roll tightly and serve hot.
