How to make Khoya Pudding Recipe

Khoya Pudding is a traditional Indian dessert made with khoya, a type of reduced milk, and flavored with cardamom, saffron, and sugar. Here's a simple recipe to make Khoya Pudding:

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup grated khoya
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 tsp cardamom powder
  • A pinch of saffron strands
  • Chopped nuts for garnishing (optional)

Instructions:

  1. In a heavy-bottomed pan, heat the milk on medium flame until it comes to a boil.

  2. Once the milk comes to a boil, reduce the flame to low and add the grated khoya to the pan. Stir continuously until the khoya dissolves in the milk.

  3. Add sugar to the mixture and stir continuously until it dissolves completely. Keep stirring until the mixture thickens and starts leaving the sides of the pan.

  4. Add the cardamom powder and saffron strands to the mixture and mix well.

  5. Remove the pan from heat and let it cool down to room temperature.

  6. Once the mixture has cooled down, pour it into serving bowls or glasses.

  7. Garnish the Khoya Pudding with chopped nuts (optional).
