How to make Mutton Cream Korma Recipe

Mutton Cream Korma is a delicious Indian dish that is made with tender mutton, rich cream, and a blend of aromatic spices. Here's a recipe to make it:

Ingredients:

1 kg mutton, cut into small pieces
2 cups yogurt
1 cup cream
1 tablespoon ginger paste
1 tablespoon garlic paste
2 onions, sliced
2 tablespoons ghee or oil
1 teaspoon cumin seeds
2 bay leaves
4 green cardamom pods
4 cloves
1 cinnamon stick
1 teaspoon red chili powder
1 teaspoon coriander powder
1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
Salt, to taste
2 tablespoons chopped coriander leaves, for garnish
Instructions:

1 .In a large bowl, mix together the yogurt, cream, ginger paste, garlic paste, red chili powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, and salt.

2 .Add the mutton pieces to the bowl and coat them well with the marinade. Cover the bowl and let it marinate for at least 2 hours, or overnight in the refrigerator.

3 .Heat the ghee or oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add the cumin seeds, bay leaves, cardamom pods, cloves, and cinnamon stick, and cook for 1-2 minutes, until fragrant.

4 .Add the sliced onions and cook for 5-7 minutes, until they are soft and lightly browned.

5 .Add the marinated mutton and cook for 10-15 minutes, until the mutton is browned on all sides.

6 .Add enough water to the pot to just cover the mutton, and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 1-2 hours, until the mutton is tender and cooked through.

7 .Once the mutton is cooked, add more salt to taste, if needed.

8 .Garnish the Mutton Cream Korma with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot with steamed rice or Indian bread, such as naan or roti.
