Chicken Malai Boti is a popular Pakistani dish that is made with marinated chicken cubes cooked on skewers. The chicken is marinated in a creamy mixture of yogurt, cream, and spices, which gives it a rich and flavorful taste. Here is a simple recipe to make Chicken Malai Boti:
Ingredients:
500 grams boneless chicken cubes
1 cup yogurt
1/2 cup cream
2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
1 tsp white pepper powder
1 tsp cumin powder
1 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp garam masala powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
Salt to taste
1 tbsp lemon juice
2 tbsp oil
Skewers
Instructions:
1 .In a large mixing bowl, add yogurt, cream, ginger-garlic paste, white pepper powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder, turmeric powder, salt, and lemon juice. Mix well until all ingredients are combined.
2 .Add chicken cubes to the marinade and mix well so that all the chicken cubes are coated with the marinade. Cover the bowl with a plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight.
3 .Preheat the grill or oven to 180°C.
4 .Thread the marinated chicken cubes onto skewers, leaving some space between each cube.
5 .Brush each skewer with some oil and place them on the grill or in the oven.
6 .Grill or bake the chicken malai boti for 15-20 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and golden brown on all sides.
7 .Once cooked, remove the skewers from the grill or oven and let them cool for a few minutes.
8 .Serve the chicken malai boti hot with mint chutney, sliced onions, and lemon wedges.
