How to make Chicken Tikka Recipe


Chicken Tikka is a popular Indian dish made with marinated chicken pieces that are grilled or baked in a tandoor oven. Here is a simple recipe to make Chicken Tikka at home:


Ingredients:


1 lb boneless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces

1/2 cup plain yogurt

2 tablespoons lemon juice

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon ginger, grated

1 tablespoon garam masala

1 teaspoon cumin

1 teaspoon coriander

1/2 teaspoon turmeric

1/2 teaspoon paprika

1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Salt to taste

Wooden skewers, soaked in water for 30 minutes

Instructions:


1 : In a bowl, mix together yogurt, lemon juice, garlic, ginger, garam masala, cumin, coriander, turmeric, paprika, cayenne pepper, and salt.


2 : Add the chicken pieces to the marinade and toss well to coat. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours or overnight for best results.


3 : Preheat your grill or oven to 400°F.


4 : Thread the marinated chicken pieces onto the wooden skewers, leaving a little space between each piece.


5 : Grill or bake the chicken skewers for 10-12 minutes or until cooked through and slightly charred.


6 : Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce and garnish with fresh cilantro and lemon wedges, if desired.
